Sheena’s Dance Academy has been energizing and entertaining Frisco for over 13 years offering the finest instruction to ages 2 1/2 thru adults- beginner, intermediate, advanced, pre-professional, and professional dance levels- in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, drill team, modern, ballroom, musical theatre, and much more.  Sheena’s Dance Academy has been voted the “Best Dance Studio” in Collin County the past eleven years and is a respected member of numerous dance and fine arts organizations such as the Who's Who in Dance, Frisco Association for the Arts, Dallas Dance Council, International Dance Council, Frisco Chamber of Commerce, ASCAP, BMI, to name a few and is the official home of The Frisco Ballet, Frisco's ballet company.
Sheena’s Dance Academy has a place for everyone.  Whether it be wanting to meet and spend time with friends, achieve a certain dance oriented goal, or pursue a career in the world of dance, students love their dance and enjoy learning in our accepting, fun filled environment.
Miss Sheena, along with her large, well rounded, and dependable teaching staff possess a true love and interest for the art of dance and the students lives they touch everyday.  They are truly outstanding role models for children, teenagers, and adults dancing at Sheena’s and throughout this wonderful community.  Their dance resumes consist of degrees, lifetime instruction, and performance experience aspiring dancers dream of, while also demonstrating that anything is possible.  They enjoy being creative in their teaching, spreading smiles, making dance class fun, exciting, educational, and a positive challenge.

Dancers from Sheena’s have been invited and performed in many local charity events, fundraisers, corporate conventions, local television broadcasts, music concerts and videos, and have been selected as entertainment at the Mrs. Texas/ Miss Teen Texas International Pageants, Miss Metrocrest, Miss Coppell/Grapevine, and Miss Texas/ Miss America organization.  Frisco Roughriders, Walt Disney Records SuperStar Kidz Search, Frisco High School Stars, Plano Symphony, Cotton Inc., CoDance National Model Search, Musical Palace in Branson MO, International Broadway Tour of 42nd Street, Lebo's Dance Model Search, Macy’s, Radio Disney, Stonebriar Centre, Dallas Summer Musicals are a few of the performance credits students at Sheena's have added to their dance resumes.  Opportunites are endless at Sheena's...the fun is never ending.  Student's at Sheena's have auditioned and been accepted to study at some of dances most reputable companies (Joffrey Ballet New York, Atlanta Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, School of American Ballet- New York, Tulsa Ballet, American Academy of Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Alvin Ailey, to name a few) and continue to receive dance scholarships to some of the most respected dance programs, conventions, and colleges throughout the country as a result of the excellent training they have received in classical ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, and modern at Sheena’s.  Sheena’s prestigious Competition Companies have defended their National Dance Championship Title for the past 9 years, along with receiving top honors for choreography, technique, and overall spirit.  All of Sheena's dance companies perform throughout the metroplex giving back to the community through their positive spirits and beautiful talents.
Sheena's Dance Academy is the home and official training school of The Frisco Ballet, a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization founded in 1999 under the direction of company founder, executive/artistic director, Miss Sheena.  This classical ballet company has brought audiences to their feet through the years with such encore classics as The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Giselle, A Holiday Extravaganza, and Cinderella, to name a few.  TFB dancers range in age from 9-24.   To be considered for The Frisco Ballet company, actively participating in classical ballet classes is a necessity.  The Frisco Ballet's summer intensive workshop held annually at Sheena's is also recommended for those interested in auditioning for The Frisco Ballet company.  
Children of all ages receive a dance experience that is always rewarding at Sheena’s Dance Academy, while also building self-esteem in the most timid and reluctant child.   Depending on each individual dancers goals, opportunities are endless, but most importantly Sheena’s Dance Academy continues to provide an environment fitting for every dancer.  Registrations are now accepted at Sheena’s Dance Academy– Where Frisco and Surrounding Communities Come to Dance!
